Universitas Brawijaya’s Strategic Plan (Renstra) 2011-2016 is basically a revision of the Universitas Brawijaya’s Strategic Plan 2010-2014, which is made based on: 1) Strategic Plan of the National Education Ministry, 2) Strategic Issues Directorate General of Higher Education, Department of Education, 3) Universitas Brawijaya’s Strategic Plan 2006-2011, and 4) Self-evaluation results that illustrate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in Universitas Brawijaya.

Strategic Plan of Fisheries and Marine Sciences Faculty Universitas Brawijaya (FPIK UB) is based on the UB’s Strategic Plan. Therefore, FPIK UB implements a comprehensive evaluation and reconstructs the Strategic Plan. Strategic Plan 2013 – 2017 is based on: 1) UB’s Strategic Plan 2011-2016, 2) Organizational Structure and Tupoksi in FPIK UB, 3) FPIK UB’s Strategic Plan 2010-2014, and 4) Self-evaluation results that illustrate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in FPIK UB.

FPIK UB’s Strategic Plan 2013-2017 which has been signed by FPIK UB Senate at the Plenary Meeting of August 23rd, 2013, is FPIK UB development direction in the next 5 years, to be used as a basic for the preparation of Dean Work Programme, Department and Program Studies within.
